PERANCANGAN BRAND IDENTITY LEMBAGA BIMBINGAN UCOMIC BERUPA MASKOT SEBAGAI UPAYA MENINGKATKAN KESADARAN MASYARAKAT

Abstract


Abstract :UComic is a drawing school and institution that established for more than 5 years. As a non-formal educational institution in drawing area, UComic focusing its material into a learning method that allow it to help develops cognitive power and motor nerve on children, where it flourish their talent and characters. Nonetheless, even after 5 years of running, UComic is still relatively unknown compared to the other institutions of the same field. The weak consistency of image branding is one of the base points of this research. Thus, the designed mascot needs to be able to show the good image and good values of UComic.  Using qualitative research method and competitors studies technique, existing studies, interviews, observation and literature studies formed a mascot with ‘confident’ as key message, which has positive. This mascot would represent Ucomic as a good place to learn how to draw for a child.
